Aparna Bansal has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting with their role as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2012. Aparna worked on projects related to parallel processors for Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications and data compression using the Burrows Wheeler Transform.
In 2013, Aparna joined Goldman Sachs as a Technology Analyst, where they focused on communications compliance technology. Aparna developed an automated testing framework for the voice recording platform and worked on an investigatory and surveillance tool for the Compliance Team.

Throughout their career, Aparna has demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and Matlab, and has acquired expertise in areas such as natural language processing, machine learning, and data science.
Aparna Bansal completed their Master's degree in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell between 2009 and 2013. Aparna also had their secondary and higher secondary education at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, where they focused on Science with a specialization in Mathematics and Computer Science.
