Jeffrey White

Jeffrey White has extensive work experience in the satellite industry. From 2020 to the present, they have served as the Vice-President of Business and Partner Development at Telesat. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they worked at OneWeb as the Director of Strategic Partnerships & International Market Access. In this role, they focused on building partnerships for market access in various countries, including Russia, China, India, Brazil, and others. Before joining OneWeb, Jeffrey worked at Intelsat from 2015 to 2018, where they held the positions of Director/Associate Counsel Business Development, Market Access and Regulatory, and Director for Intelsat Cosmos (Russia) & Director for Intelsat Global Sale. Jeffrey'sresponsibilities at Intelsat included leading global market access and regulatory matters and developing business strategies for new products and services. Prior to that, they worked at Iridium Satellite LLC from 2005 to 2015, where they held various roles including Business Development Director and Executive Director EMEA & Russia. In these roles, they successfully reorganized and revitalized distribution networks and sales strategies in multiple countries. Jeffrey also has experience as an attorney, having worked at Loral Orion from 1999 to 2002, where they wrote and negotiated corporate contracts and assisted with regulatory affairs. Jeffrey began their career in the United States Air Force/NSA as a Cryptologic Russian Linguist, serving from 1990 to 1993.

Jeffrey White received their Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and Statistics from Stetson University, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. Jeffrey then attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center from 1990 to 1992, where they completed a Russian Language and Cultural Studies program and received a Certificate of Completion. Following this, Jeffrey pursued further education at Vermont Law and Graduate School from 1996 to 1999, earning a Juris Doctorate degree with a specialization in International and Environmental Law.
