Mohammad Shakawat Hossain

Mohammad Shakawat Hossain, MBA, MSc, PMP®, currently serves as User Terminal Program Manager at Telesat, overseeing Lightspeed LEO satellite User Terminal Programs since November 2024. Previously, Mohammad worked as Engineering Manager at Syntronic from November 2020 to November 2024, leading hardware/software integration and verification for radio products compliant with 3GPP specifications. Prior roles include Team Lead at Ericsson, managing development projects for the Radio Dot System and Indoor Connect, and Lead R&D Mixed Signal and RF Designer at Sensors & Software Inc. with a focus on subsurface imaging radar technology. Mohammad also has extensive experience with the Department of National Defence in various managerial roles overseeing military equipment projects. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Alabama and a Master's in Military Studies from the Defense Services Command and Staff College.
