Shawn Switenky

Shawn Switenky has extensive experience in the satellite communication sector, currently serving as the Lightspeed User Terminal Product Manager for Third Party Programs at Telesat since March 2000, focusing on collaboration with leading satcom terminal vendors to enhance the Lightspeed ecosystem. Prior to this role, Shawn held positions as a Senior Product Engineer and Sales Engineer. Shawn's career began at the University of Saskatchewan, where, from January 1993 to March 2000, a role as a Network Engineer was undertaken. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, completed between 1987 and 1993.
