Timothy Best is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and technical roles within the aerospace and communications sectors. Currently serving as the Aero UT Product Manager at Telesat since June 2021, Timothy previously held positions at Satcom Direct as both Technical Product Manager and Senior Product Manager from December 2016 to May 2021. Prior to this, Timothy was the Director of Product Management at TrueNorth Avionics and held various positions at Honeywell, including Sr. Project Engineer for SATCOM Antennas & Radomes and Sr. Manager in Marketing & Product Management. Timothy began a long tenure at EMS Aviation in June 1995, serving as Product Manager and Engineering/Program Manager until August 2011. Timothy holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Science (Engineering, Materials Science & Metallurgy) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science (Metallurgical Engineering) from Queen's University.
