In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology. Timo continued their research work in 2016, specializing in the development of biomedical monitoring devices and platforms.

In 2017, Timo gained industry experience through internships at Intel Corporation and Bittium, where they focused on hardware testing and engineering. Timo then joined Nokia as a Testing Specialist for System on Chip (SoC) in early 2018.

Timo's career progressed further when they joined Firstbeat Technologies Oy as an Embedded Software Designer, working on sensor solutions, software development, and testing automation for Elite team sports monitoring. Simultaneously, they worked at Nokia as a Testing Specialist.

From 2020 to 2021, Timo worked as a Software Developer at Sensotrend, specializing in software solutions for Type 1 Diabetics. Timo gained expertise in Javascript and React during this time.

In 2021, Timo became a Software Lead at LAKKA Health Oy, where they played a crucial role in the development of a non-invasive wearable wellness device for blood glucose self-monitoring. Timo managed software development and also contributed to programming.

Currently, Timo is a Project Software Lead at Teleste since 2022, utilizing their expertise and experience in software development and leadership.

Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Technology, M.Sc. (Tech.) in Embedded Systems and Biomedical Engineering from 2017 to 2019.
