Tomi Suvilampi

Tomi Suvilampi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tomi started their career as a Production Worker at Nokian Tyres plc from March 2002 to October 2008, where they performed various tasks in the finishing department. In 2009, they worked as a Designer at Tampereen Sähkölaistos, specializing in electrical design for heating plants during an alternation leave substitution.

From June 2010 to September 2014, Tomi worked at Teleste as an Appliance Engineer, responsible for designing products for the railway environment. Tomi'stasks included product design, validation, documentation, product management, and maintenance. Tomi also took on design task leading and product transfer to serial production.

Tomi then transitioned to the position of Engineering Project Manager at Teleste from September 2014 to November 2021. In this role, they managed projects involved in developing new passenger information system products for the growing public transport market. Tomi'sresponsibilities included project concepting, planning, scheduling, organizing project meetings, coordinating different design areas (mechanics, appliance, and electronics), and overseeing project progress (schedule and costs). Additionally, they served as the hardware technical lead for customer delivery projects.

Most recently, Tomi assumed the role of Project Manager at Teleste in November 2021, and then transitioned to a Technical Project Manager role in August 2022. Further details about their current role are not provided.

Tomi Suvilampi obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering and Automation Technology from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation Examination at Ylöjärvi Upper Secondary School in 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Tomi Suvilampi obtained the certification of Certified Project Manager (IPMA level C) from the International Project Management Association in June 2021.
