Abbie Major

Abbie Major has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Abbie started their career as a Student Ambassador at Murdoch University, where they conducted educational activities for school children and provided information to visitors. Abbie also worked as a Student Centre Assistant, assisting academic staff and providing guidance to prospective students. Abbie then joined CHC Helicopter as a Communications Intern, where they supported the Communications Director and managed projects. Abbie contributed to the development of visual aids and revamped the company newsletter template. Abbie also served as a Public Relations Assistant at South Metropolitan Health Service, where they managed internal staff events and communication strategies. Abbie worked as a Communications Officer at Telethon Kids Institute, contributing to their communications efforts. In addition, Abbie had experience as an Event Crew member at Business Chicks Australia and as a Sports Reporter at Geraldton Netball Association. Abbie also worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern for the Tertiary Education Management Conference, providing social media coverage and assisting with conference management.

Abbie Major attended Murdoch University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Public Relations.
