Amanda Lewis has extensive work experience in communications, media, and journalism. Amanda began their career as a journalist at The West Australian newspaper in 1999 and gained skills in editing and sub-editing across various areas of the newspaper. Amanda particularly enjoyed Features writing. Amanda worked for The West Australian as a journalist until 2013, after which they began freelancing. In 2016, they worked as a Media Consultant at Curtin University for a period of six months. In 2017, Amanda joined the Telethon Kids Institute as a Communications Specialist, where they currently hold this role.
Amanda Lewis attended Mercedes College from 1989 to 1993, where they completed their high school education. Later, from 1996 to 1998, Amanda pursued a Bachelor's Degree in English journalism at Curtin University.
