Sanjay Palanivel

Sanjay Palanivel has a professional work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Sanjay started their career in 2019 as a Security Operations Center Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, where they specialized in threat intelligence and was actively involved in protecting clients from cyber threats. Their responsibilities included working with Security Incident and Event Management systems such as SIEM-Splunk and Exabeam Datalake.

In 2022, Sanjay joined Scope Logic as a Cyber Security Engineer, where they had two separate roles.

In 2023, they will be joining Telethon Kids Institute as a Cyber Security Engineer.

Sanjay Palanivel completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Panimalar Engineering College, which they attended from 2015 to 2019. Sanjay then pursued a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at Edith Cowan University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4: Certified Professional from Fortinet in March 2022, the Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core from Cisco in April 2021, the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in March 2021, and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in December 2020.
