Born in 1963, a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Thierry THUILLIER joined TF1 in 1990 in the Foreign Policy and then Domestic Policy department.
Thierry THUILLIER joined Information de France 2 in 1994, where he was successively in charge of the International service, the Investigation and Reportage service, then editor-in-chief of 20 H.
Thierry THUILLIER took over as editorial manager of I>Télé between 2008 and 2010 before returning to France Télévisions as Director of Information and then Managing Director of France 2. He initiated the rapprochement of the editorial staff of public channels and initiated a new dynamic in information programs.
Thierry THUILLIER returned to the TF1 Group in August 2016 and was appointed CEO of LCI. Alongside Catherine NAYL, he initiated the revival of the Info Channel, reinforced its program schedule, its digital offer and reorganized the editorial teams.
In 2017, LCI became the second national news channel.
Thierry THUILLIER was appointed Deputy Chief Information Officer of the TF1 Group in September 2017.

Television Francaise 1 SA, also known as TF1, is a France-based company primarily engaged in the television broadcasting and communication services. It is present in freeview television with TF1, a general channel without specific thematic content; TMC and NT1. The Company is also present in pay television with Eurosport, a sports broadcasting channel; TV Breizh; the Discovery division, including Ushuaia TV, Histoire and Stylia; LCI, a news and current events analysis channel; TF6 and Serie Club. In addition, the Company's other activities include audiovisual and film production, acquisition and trading of audiovisual rights, movie distribution, sale of commercials, publishing of music compact discs (CDs), as well as management of a social media platform under the MinuteBuzz brand name. The Company operates through numerous subsidiaries, including TF1 Publicite, Aufeminin SA and Teleshopping, among others.
