Edward Rooney

Edward Rooney is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Daily Digital Editor at TVNZ since December 2023. Prior to this role, Edward freelanced as an Editor for Rockhopper Media Solutions and held various positions at New Zealand Media & Entertainment (NZME) from 2011 to 2023, including Homepage and Opinions Editor and Regional News Director. Edward's background also includes editorial leadership at the Herald on Sunday and The Aucklander, as well as experience as a Television Presenter at Triangle TV.
