Luis G. Portillo

Luis G. Portillo is a seasoned Motion Graphic Artist and Video Content Producer with extensive experience in the film and media industry. Currently at Spark Media, Luis is involved in production work for the documentary "Witness: Bearing Truth, Defending Freedom" and has previously contributed to various high-profile documentaries, earning accolades such as the 2017 PIXIE Platinum Award. As a Team Leader at TVNZ since 2008, Luis has successfully managed editing resources and led the transition to advanced Avid technology. Additional roles include freelance work, creating impactful motion graphics for documentaries, and providing creative consultancy services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Film/Video Production from American University, alongside studies in creative writing and psychology.
