Melodie Robinson

Melodie Robinson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sports management and communications. Currently serving as a Board Member for World Rugby since November 2024, Melodie leads the strategic direction and operational oversight of the organization. As the Head of Sports, Events and Partnerships at TVNZ since February 2019, Melodie is responsible for the sports content acquisition and production across all platforms. Previous roles include General Manager of Sport and Events, overseeing high-profile events such as the Rugby World Cup and the Olympics, and positions in corporate communications and journalism. Melodie holds an MBA from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Otago, among other qualifications.
