Deoraj Asane

Robotics Mechanical Engineer at TELEXISTENCE Inc.

Deoraj Asane has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Powertrain Engineer at STES Racing and later becoming the Team Captain in 2016. In 2019, Deoraj worked as a Research Intern at Ricoh Company, Ltd., where they focused on developing a control approach for a mobile robot base. From 2019 to 2020, Deoraj was a Graduate Research Assistant at Waseda University. In 2020, they joined KAWADA ROBOTICS CORPORATION as a Research and Development Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the 'Fillie' robot and led the development of the 'End Effector & Hand Camera' unit. From 2022 to 2023, Deoraj worked at Kawada Technologies Inc・Core Platform Laboratory as a Research and Development Engineer, focusing on the research and development of next-generation collaborative robots. Most recently, starting in 2023, Deoraj joined Telexistence Inc. as a Robotics Mechanical Engineer.

Deoraj Asane pursued their education in the field of engineering. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Savitribai Phule Pune University and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, from 2018 to 2020, Deoraj pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Waseda University. In addition to their academic achievements, Deoraj also obtained certifications such as JLPT N5 from JEES - Japan Educational Exchanges and Services in January 2020. Deoraj also received certifications in Student Formula Japan in 2017 and 2016 from SAE International.
