Marco Omainska

Marco Omainska, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead Automation Engineer at Telexistence, responsible for advancing the visual perception and task capabilities of retail robots through the development of object detector networks and synthetic datasets. Previously, Marco held various roles, including a Teaching Assistant in Advanced Control at The University of Tokyo and a Coding Freelance Instructor at Saturday Kids Japan. Additional experience includes contributions to machine learning for cloth motion prediction at BANDAI NAMCO Studios and the development of data-driven models for temperature and moisture control in high-rise buildings at the University of Stuttgart. Marco's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Cybernetics from The University of Tokyo and a Master of Science in Cybernetics from the University of Stuttgart, supplemented by research affiliations with Tokyo Institute of Technology.
