Benny Manahan Silalahi has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Benny Manahan began their career as a Junior Auditor at Deloitte in 2004. From 2007 to 2009, Benny worked as a General Accounting Officer at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk, where they communicated new accounting treatments to the finance department branches.
In 2011, Benny joined Telin (PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International) and held various roles including Financial Reporting & Controlling Senior Officer, Financial Accounting Manager, and Consolidation Reporting Manager.
Benny then transitioned to Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (TL) S.A. in 2016, where they served as VP Finance and Human Capital from 2017 to 2019, and earlier as VP Finance from 2016 to 2017.
Since 2019, Benny has been a part of Telin (PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International) again, taking on positions such as VP Corporate Finance, VP Business Controller, and currently serving as Vice President Financial Controller.
Benny Manahan Silalahi completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management Strategic at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in 2015. Prior to that, in 2014, they attended the National University of Singapore for an executive program in International Business. Currently, they are pursuing an executive program in Designing and Executing Corporate Revitalization at Harvard Business School, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Benny also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), obtained between the years 2000 and 2005. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Certified Risk Professional (CRP) from Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pasar Modal in April 2021, and the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia in December 2020.
