Sebastian Presecan has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sebastian is currently working as the CTO at Telios Care, a position they have held since 2017. Previously, they worked at DevM8 as the Managing Director and Mobile & Cloud Architect, where they focused on boosting the performance and user base of mobile and cloud projects. Sebastian co-founded Applications Studio in 2020 and currently serves as the Co-Founder and CTO. In 2018, Sebastian was the Chief Information Officer at IFACTOR - Alternative SME Lending. Sebastian also has experience as a Java Mentor and Java Training Lead at The Informal School of IT, and as the Head of Mobile Solutions at iQuest Technologies. Sebastian has a strong background in product management, project management, and software development, having held roles such as Product Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Java Developer at iQuest Technologies. Sebastian co-founded PANGEA and CrosscutUSA, where they served as the CTO, coordinating R&D efforts. Sebastian began their career as a Developer at Siliage in 2000 before transitioning to roles at iQuest Technologies in 2001. Overall, they have a proven track record of leading and managing successful projects in the mobile and cloud industries.

Sebastian attended Petru Maior Highschool from 1991 to 1995.
From 1995 to 2000, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems at Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca.
From 1998 to 2002, Sebastian attended Technical University of Cluj Napoca and earned an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science.
Sebastian then furthered their education at Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 2002 to 2003, obtaining an MSc in Computer Science.
Sebastian continued their academic journey at Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca from 2006 to 2011, achieving a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pervasive Computing.
In 2018, they completed a Deep Learning Nanodegree program at Udacity.
Sebastian also pursued a Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree at Udacity in 2019.
Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified SCRUM Master from SCRUM Alliance and as a Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA) from SUN.
