Gareth Smith

Gareth Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research strategy and business development within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Research Strategy at Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited since January 2025, Gareth previously held the position of Vice President of Business Strategy at ImaginAb, where leadership in the development of Radiopharmaceutical Therapy culminated in a significant acquisition by Telix. Earlier roles include General Manager for Europe at ImaginAb and Chief Operating Officer at Theragnostics, contributing to operational growth and strategic partnerships. Gareth also served as Senior Licensing & Ventures Manager at Oxford University Innovation and held research positions at GE Healthcare. Academically, Gareth earned a PhD in Chemistry from King's College London and a Master of Chemistry from the University of Kent, along with a certificate in Marketing from CIM.
