Tellus Products, LLC
We upcycle leftover sugarcane fiber from the sugar milling process and convert it to packaging and foodservice products such as plates, bowls, and take-out containers. Tellus is jointly owned by Florida Crystals Corporation, Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida and American Sugar Refining, Inc., part of ASR Group. Our owners are made up of more than 45 mostly family farms, who have been proud to carefully cultivate sugarcane and vegetables in South Florida for generations. Our farmers not only produce the sugarcane fiber for our eco-friendly products but also the fresh, homegrown produce that fill our plates at your barbecue. Our first manufacturing facility is located adjacent to the sugar mill in Belle Glade, Florida belonging to one of our parent owners. Our new office building is in the same area and is LEED-certified®, LEED Silver®. Tellus is a vertically integrated manufacturing facility. Tellus runs partially on renewable biomass power provided from the sugar mill and solar energy, making it an extremely efficient and environmentally sustainable manufacturing facility.
