Sherif ElGamal

Sherif ElGamal has a diverse background in accounting and finance, with over 20 years of experience. Sherif is currently working as a Senior Accounting Manager at Telnyx since November 2022. Prior to that, Sherif worked as an Audit, Tax, Accounting & Advisory Professional, providing accounting, advisory, and tax services to clients. Sherif also has experience as a Director - Audit and Consulting at SK & Cos CPAs, where they managed engagement schedules, staff, and budget allocations. Before that, Sherif served as the Manager - Financial Control and Reporting at al khalij commercial bank, where they were responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements and monitoring compliance with financial policies. Sherif also worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG in Qatar and held positions as a Senior Auditor at Mohamed Kandil CPA office and as a Staff Auditor at Mostafa Shawky CPA. Overall, Sherif's work experience demonstrates their expertise in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and financial control.

Sherif ElGamal completed their high school education at Victory College from 1983 to 1995, where they obtained a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Sherif then attended Alexandria University from 1995 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting.

In terms of additional certifications, Sherif obtained a Certificate in International Financial Reporting from ACCA in January 2010, a Certificate in International Auditing from the Association of Chatered Certified Accountants in February 2010, and a Certified Public Accountant (US CPA) certification from the Guam Board Of Accountancy in November 2010. Sherif also obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in December 2009, a Certified Internal Auditor certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in May 2007, and a Certified Public Accountant (Egypt) certification from the Register of Certified Public Accountants of Egyptian Ministry of Finance in May 2005. Sherif obtained an Enrolled Agent (EA) certification from the US Treasury | Internal Revenue Service in May 2013 and an Individual Certification from XBRL International, Inc. in May 2020.

More recently, Sherif completed the FWD initiative - Advanced Data Analysis Nano Degree at Udacity from 2020 to 2021, focusing on Data Analysis.
