Jayla Vanhorn

Jayla Vanhorn is a Multimedia Journalist at WKYC Studios and serves as an LTV Sports Producer and Assistant Sports Editor at The Lantern Media Group. Since April 2021, Jayla has been an Emerging Leader Fellow at the Telos Institute, selected for a yearlong leadership program requiring recruitment of other fellows. Prior experience includes roles at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio as an Athletics Communication Assistant/Intern and Youth Development Specialist, focusing on youth advocacy and program coordination. Jayla has also worked as a Horticultural Manager, managing mentoring and training in agricultural initiatives. Previously, Jayla contributed as a News Writer/Editor and served as an Assistant Coach at Bally Sports Group. Academic qualifications include pursuing dual bachelor's degrees in Sports Industry and Communication and Media Studies at The Ohio State University.
