Benjamin Goon

Benjamin Goon is an experienced professional in the fields of risk management and quality assurance, currently serving as the Risk, QA & Controls Manager at TelstraSuper since October 2018. In this role, Benjamin has taken on various leadership responsibilities, including acting as the Head of Retirement, Product & Risk, and participating in senior leadership meetings focused on governance and oversight. Previous roles at TelstraSuper include Senior Risk, Quality Assurance & Controls Specialist, and Risk & Assurance Analyst, where key contributions involved supporting operational risk management and quality assurance initiatives. Prior to TelstraSuper, Benjamin held positions at La Trobe Financial, Mercer, and McMasters' Accountant, gaining expertise in credit support, superannuation consulting, and accounting. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Economics from Monash University and completed the CPA Australia Program.
