Janet de Silva

Janet de Silva is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the financial and media sectors. Currently serving as a Communications Consultant at TelstraSuper since December 2022, Janet previously held the position of Senior Manager of Institutional Content at Conexus Financial from November 2021 to May 2023. Janet's long-term role as Senior Manager of Media and Communications at the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees spanned from October 2007 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing media relations and member communications for a key organization in Australia's superannuation sector. Additionally, Janet has served as a Non-Executive Director for the Mother's Day Classic Foundation and has a background in journalism with previous roles as a section editor and senior reporter for prominent publications such as The Age and The Australian Financial Review. Janet holds an Hons degree in Pharmacology from the University of Melbourne and a BSc in Science from Monash University.
