Matthew Koertge

Matthew Koertge is the Managing Director at Telstra Ventures. Matthew has over 25 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Telstra, they were a Founding Partner & General Partner at Accede Capital Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early stage companies in the enterprise software, big data/analytics, cybersecurity, and infrastructure sectors.

Mr. Koertge has also held positions at Deutsche Bank and the Macquarie Group. At Deutsche Bank, they were the Director of DB Capital Partners, the bank’s technology-focused venture capital fund. At Macquarie, they served as Senior Vice President of Macquarie Technology Ventures, the group’s $500 million venture capital fund.

Earlier in their career, Mr. Koertge worked for Fujitsu in their Telecommunication Products Group as a Project Manager. Matthew has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
