Danny Burns possesses extensive experience in the defence and aerospace sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of Transformation for the Defence Engagement Business Unit at Telstra since March 2003. Prior to this role, Danny held the position of Project Director at Telstra and worked as a Business Development Manager at RLM from 2002 to 2003. Danny's career includes a significant tenure at Australian Defence Industries as a Business Development Manager in Aerospace and a role as Aircraft Maintenance Manager at British Aerospace. The foundational experience in avionics engineering was gained during a service in the Royal Australian Air Force from 1975 to 1989. Danny holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Newcastle.
