Elango Rajendran

Elango Rajendran is a seasoned professional in business development and sales leadership, currently serving as the Head of Business Development & Sales Leader for Media & Broadcast Services at Telstra Broadcast Services since December 2023. Prior to this, Elango was the Sales Director for Media and Entertainment in Asia Pacific at Tata Communications from June 2014 to January 2024, where responsibilities included developing long-range sales strategies and managing product offerings in media and broadcast as well as telecommunications. With extensive experience in various roles at ST Teleport Pte Ltd, including Senior Regional Sales Manager, Elango has a strong background in business development, project leadership, and tactical direction for new products and services. Elango began a career in operations and engineering at Sun TV Network Limited and VSNL Internet Services Ltd, building a foundation in technical and operational aspects of broadcast services. Elango holds a PGD in Business and Finance from Southern Cross University and a BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the University of Madras.
