Laila Kara

Laila Kara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement, commercial management, and operational leadership across multiple industries. Currently serving as Commercial Principal at Telstra since March 2019, Laila leads major commercial agreements and negotiations while managing IT procurement spend. Prior roles include Head of Procurement at Coca-Cola South Pacific, Independent Consultant, General Manager Operations at Bendon Group, General Manager Commercial & Marketing at Downer EDI Ltd, and Financial Controller at ADAMA Ltd. Laila holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree with honors in Accounts, Economics, and Business Finance from the University of Cape Town.
