Mehmet Ozkan

Mehmet Ozkan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in driving innovation and strategic initiatives across major telecommunications companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Innovation at Telstra since May 2023, Mehmet is responsible for the technology strategy and enterprise portfolio of Telstra International Global Enterprise. Prior roles include Principal Technologist at Google, where Mehmet led technology strategy for 4G/5G and network analytics, and Director of Technology Delivery at Verizon, overseeing a digital transformation program. As Chief Technology Officer and founder of Socialbye, Mehmet developed a digital marketing platform for the retail industry. Earlier positions include Chief Architect at AT&T and Chief Technology Lead at Ericsson, along with leadership roles at Turk Telekom and Sabanci Telecom. Mehmet holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and a BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, from prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Southern Methodist University.
