Rikki Cooper

Rikki Cooper is an experienced professional in diversity, equity, and inclusion, currently serving as the First Nations Talent Lead and Senior Specialist DEI at Telstra since October 2025. Rikki's role focuses on enhancing trust, strengthening relationships, and improving the experience of First Nations team members by implementing the First Nations Talent Strategy (FNTS). Prior to Telstra, Rikki held various positions at BGIS from April 2015 to September 2025, including National Indigenous Engagement Manager and Head of Talent Acquisition & Indigenous Engagement for the APAC region. Rikki's earlier experience includes roles at MEGT (Australia) Ltd as a Recruitment & Management Services Coordinator, and as a Recruitment Manager at Drake International. Rikki's educational credentials include an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Australian Institute of Business and certifications in training and assessment from TAFE Queensland.
