Shane Butler is a data and AI leader with over 18 years of experience in analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence. They currently serve as the Head of Data Science at Telstra, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, Shane was involved in various advisory and leadership roles, including Chapter Lead Principal and Chapter Lead in Advanced Analytics at Telstra, as well as serving on the Industry Advisory Board at Deakin University. Shane has also contributed to the Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia, holding positions such as Board Member and Joint Chair of the Victorian Chapter. Shane continues their education at Monash University.
