Gerard Devan (Disney - Telstra Partnership GM) (He)

Gerard Devan is a Group Executive who works for one of the world's largest Media, Technology, Talent, Communications and Multi-Media empires within the Disney Company. Gerard created the Disney - Telstra streaming partnership and leads the Disney Telstra team which is co-located at Telstra under Carl Anthony 2IC streaming much of 20th Century Fox and DIsney+. Gerard's work involves the creation, marketing and distribution of content for streaming, television, and cinematic programs on the Australian, New Zealand, Pacific and global networks into accessible public domains. The role also involves the creation and distribution of diverse new technologies which impact several industry verticals including Enterprise, Government, SME snd Consumer markets. Gerard Devan manages the complex Media, Multi Media, Enterprise, Corporate, Government, Telstra, Amazon, Television, Cinematic, Streaming relationships for Disney APAC. Gerard is passionate about social responsibility, inclusion and the environment also works as an advisory executive director to Murdoch family owned Australian Rain Corporation (ARC) an organization that has brought together a technology-based environmental improvement platform to Australia and the world. Prior to that, Gerard held senior leadership roles at Netsuite/Oracle, UN Australia, Vodafone, Foxtel, Telstra, ANZ and Westpac.

Gerard is a graduate o the University of Wollongong with two undergraduate degrees and a postgraduate qualification all in the Technology, Communication and Media fields. Gerard is presently completing a Law Degree at Sydney University’s LPAB program.
