Roberto Piazza

Roberto Piazza is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware design and satellite communications. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and previously as Hardware Design Engineer at Telsy since June 2020, Roberto has also held positions including Digital Hardware Engineer at Newtec (2017-2020), Space Systems Engineer at SES Satellites (2015-2017), and Industrial PhD candidate focusing on satellite communications at SnT (2012-2015). Earlier roles include Functional Test Engineer at THALES ALENIA SPACE (2010-2011) and an internship at Vishay Intertechnology in the Power Semiconductors Modules R&D team (2010). Roberto holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg, a Master Degree in Ingegneria Elettronica from Politecnico di Torino, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, as well as a Bachelor Degree in Ingegneria Elettronica from Politecnico di Torino.
