Richard LaFontaine

Richard LaFontaine has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Richard began their career in 1989 as an Avionics Systems Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft, where they supported business development efforts for the US Navy. In 1990, they joined Stanford Telecommunications Inc as a Principal Engineer, leading feasibility studies and analyzing satellite systems for NASA missions. From 1998 to 2004, LaFontaine worked at Hughes Network Systems as a Director of Business Development, focusing on expanding the satellite network product line. Richard then joined Exelis, Information Systems Division in 2004 as a Sr. Director and NASA Account Manager, responsible for account management and business development. Since 2014, LaFontaine has been serving as the Managing Director at Teltrium Solutions, LLC. Throughout their career, they have received distinguished recognition awards for their technical and business accomplishments.

Richard LaFontaine obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. Richard then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University, completing their studies in 1989.
