Akshay Lal

Akshay Lal is a co-founder of Playment, where the focus is on assisting AI companies in generating human-labeled ground truth data at scale, providing vital training and validation infrastructure for machine learning. Prior to this role, Akshay worked at Flipkart from June 2013 to March 2015 in product management, where efforts were directed towards building scalable products to enhance product selection quality for customers. An internship at GE in May 2012 involved developing a comprehensive database of Superalloy properties and a user interface for database access. Akshay's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (2009 - 2013) and attendance at Campion School, Bhopal (2002 - 2009), with further entrepreneurial training from Y Combinator in 2017.
