Irene Chan

Irene Chan is a Strategy Manager at TELUS, specializing in learning transformation projects that encompass technology migration, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, change management, and business process improvement. Since joining TELUS in April 2014, Irene has led initiatives in strategic planning, training deployment, and stakeholder relationship cultivation, while also co-chairing the TELUS National Sustainability Council to promote sustainable practices across the organization. Irene has held various roles, including Team Manager for Operations and Communications Lead for the sustainability council, where responsibilities included managing volunteer teams, executing sustainability programs, and enhancing employee engagement initiatives. With a Master of Education from The University of British Columbia, Irene has a strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and project management, complemented by experience facilitating career development workshops and supporting students in their educational pursuits.
