Polly Gilbert has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they worked as an Office Coordinator for Fabrica, providing general administrative support, rigging and de-rigging installations, engaging with visitors, and running workshops and events. In 2014, they joined WPP advertising agency J. Walter Thompson on their prestigious graduate scheme as a Project Manager, working across Kelloggs, Legal & General, Nestle, Debenhams and TWE. Polly was also a Participant in Google Squared, a two-month scholarship for graduates working in the advertising and media industries. In 2015, they became a Marketing Executive at RKCR/Y&R. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at TAP London as a Co-Founder, helping to tackle homelessness through community action and technology. During this time, they also worked as a Marketing Director at GoodBox, a tech-for-good company, and as CMO at Tembo, helping a new generation of home-owners get on the property ladder faster and for less.

Polly Gilbert completed their secondary education at Aylesbury High School from 2003 to 2008. Polly then attended Lord Williams's School from 2008 to 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they earned a BA (Hons.), 1st Class in English & Polly'story from the University of Sussex. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Google Ads (Search) and Search Engine Optimisation from Jellyfish Training.
