Phil Michaels has an extensive work experience beginning in 2012. Phil started as a Performance Coach at Orangetheory Fitness, where they were ranked #1 coach in the US, won 1st place for helping a client achieve weight loss, and was voted BEST 1-hour workout in the US by The NY Times. In 2013, they founded PMP Luxury Fitness and the Spartan Society at the University of Tampa. In 2015, they founded Tembo Education, which educates 0-6 year old children around the world. In 2016, they became a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, a Social Entrepreneur Fellow with The Global Good Fund, and a Leadership Board Member with the Harvard GSE Innovation & Ventures in Education. In 2017, they became an Executive Performance Coach at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2021, they became the Founding Chief Strategy Officer at Volato.

Phil Michaels received their Bachelor's of Science in Allied Health: Pre-Medicine from the University of Tampa in 2010. From 2013 to 2015, they completed a Dual-Degree program at the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (MS) in Marketing. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness). In 2014, they completed a Transcendental Meditation technique training. Finally, in 2016, they completed a Design School Training at Stanford University.
