Kj Philp

KJ Philp currently serves as the Director of Communications at Tempe Tourism Office, a position held since October 2022. Previously, KJ held the role of Content Manager at Visit Phoenix from February 2019 to October 2022, focusing on promoting Greater Phoenix as a premier destination through various media. Experience as Managing Editor at Echo Magazine from June 2014 to October 2018 included overseeing editorial content and fostering community engagement within LGBTQ+ circles in Arizona. Earlier roles include Associate Editor for AAA Arizona's Highroads magazine, where KJ managed editorial production for a publication with a circulation of 495,000, and contributions to other publications such as Desert Living Magazine and PVA Publications. KJ's career also includes serving as a Public Affairs Specialist in the United States Air Force. KJ holds a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University and two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force and Phoenix College, along with training from the Defense Information School.
