Janay Smith

Janay Smith has held a variety of roles in their career. In 2012, they began their professional journey as an Order Processor at Connect America Medical Alert Company. Four years later, in 2016, they moved to MedRisk Inc. as a Contract Liasion. In 2017, they joined The Results Companies as a Health Insurance Agent. In 2020, they began working at Berry Global, Inc. as a Machine Operator, where they were responsible for material handling, palletizing, line inspecting, and other duties. Finally, in 2022, they were promoted to Level 1 Machine Operator Lead at TemperPack, where their duties included overseeing machine production, executing and verifying settings and tooling during changeovers, giving functional direction to line workers, checking product quality, and maintaining machine operation.

Janay Smith is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Previously, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Howard University between 2009 and 2011, and completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from La Salle University between 2017 and 2018. In 2013, they began studying Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities at Immaculata University. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Individual Life & Health Insurance from the National Insurance Producer Registry.
