Joe Rake

Joe Rake has held various roles in the supply chain and product management fields since 2001. Theircareer began at Mars, where they served as a Sr. Packaging Scientist from 2001-2009. Joe then moved to Wrigley, where they were a Sr. Packaging Engineer - Innovation until 2011. From 2011-2015, they were at PepsiCo, where they held the roles of Packaging Development Manager and Principal Packaging Innovation Engineer - Quaker Foods+Snacks/Growth Ventures/Global Nutrition Group. From 2015-2018, they worked at Mars Petcare US, where they were a Program Manager - Wet Food, Care & Treats Packaging for Dogs & Cats and Packaging Development Engineer. Most recently, from 2018-2022, they were at Amazon, where they held the roles of Sr. Program Manager - CPEX Advanced Material Research, Sr. Program Manager, Customer Packaging Experience - Vendor Engagement, and Sr. Packaging Program Manager, Grocery Delivery. In 2022, they began working at TemperPack as Vice President Supply Chain and Vice President, Product.

Joe Rake completed a Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science from Michigan State University between 1997 and 2002. Joe then went on to earn a Master of Engineering Management in Industrial Engineering - Innovation & Design from Northwestern University - McCormick School of Engineering between 2011 and 2015.
