Darren Walsh

Darren Walsh has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and product management. Darren is currently working at Tempest as a Lead Product Manager. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG Australia as a Senior Product Manager, where they managed various projects and ensured the delivery of user-focused solutions. Darren also worked as a Full Stack PHP Developer at KPMG, where they developed web applications and reviewed code and processes.

In 2021, Darren joined Rest, a superannuation company, as a Product Manager on a secondment role from KPMG. Previously, they worked at The Smart Group as a Software Engineer, leading the development of the OnBrand Web-to-print and Marketing system. At Device Smart, they worked as a Software Engineer, specializing in testing and releasing products. Darren started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at TransAct Carbon, where they worked on API testing, website development, and prototype creation.

Throughout their work experience, Darren has demonstrated skills in technical product management and project delivery. Darren has a strong focus on translating business goals into impactful solutions and improving the project delivery process.

Darren Walsh pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2003, they attended Dunmore Community School but did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. From 2009 to 2013, they enrolled at the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Software Engineering. Later, in 2015, they obtained a certification called "Complete ASP.NET MVC Web Development - Newbie to Ninja!" from Udemy. In 2017, Darren Walsh furthered their education by attending Queen's University Belfast, where they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Management from 2017 to 2018.
