Maribel Valentin

Maribel Valentin is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Temple Health – Temple University Health System since December 2005. In this role, Maribel oversees the compliance program for the health system and its affiliates, addressing corporate compliance and regulatory matters. Prior positions include Senior Counsel and Legal Fellow at the same organization. Additionally, Maribel has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Widener University Delaware Law School and previously at Temple University College of Health Professions and Social Work. Maribel holds a Juris Doctor in Health Law from Widener University Schools of Law, a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Thomas Edison State University, and an Associate's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Mercer County Community College.
