Rebecca LaPook Siegel is a dedicated educator and performer with extensive experience in creative arts and teaching. Currently serving as a Religious School Teacher at Temple Israel of Hollywood since September 2019, Rebecca fosters connections between young students and their Jewish heritage. Additionally, Rebecca has contributed as a Story Pirates Performer and Teacher, leading online creative writing workshops and performing students' stories. Previous roles include Artist in Residence and Clown Head of Shop at Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp, where curriculum development and staff coaching were key responsibilities. With a background in acting at Universal Orlando Resort and as a copywriter and assistant manager for a Grammy Award-nominated musician, Rebecca embodies a blend of artistic expertise and educational passion, underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies from Haverford College.

Temple Israel of Hollywood is a progressive Reform congregation made up of 3000 members from Hancock Park, West Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Beverly Hills and the near Valley. Founded in 1926 by a group of entertainment luminaries, and located in the heart of Hollywood, Temple Israel has never strayed from its deep dedication to worship, education, social justice and action. A welcoming, inclusive community, Temple Israel offers robust adult learning and arts programming with a distinctly contemporary flair. Our three schools educate over 600 students and our social action programs help thousands in need every year.
