Kelly Emerton

Board Member at Temple Therapeutics

Dr. Emerton is the Sr. Director at MedTronic, leading the Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies. Previous to Medtronic, Kelly ran the US Aortic Stent Graft division of CryoLife, Inc (NYSE: CRY) where she oversees the development of endovascular stent graft technologies into the US market. Previous to that, she spent 5 years at Cleveland Clinic hospital where she oversaw all product development for medical device technologies originating in the hospital system. She also sits on CWRU’s Technology Validation Start-up Fund committee, is on the Medical/Scientific Advisory Board for Temple Therapeutics and Red Crow Medical Investments. Under her Cleveland Clinic tenure, she started 2 spin-off companies in the cardiovascular arena, and was the Chief Operating Officer of Enhale Medical, Inc, the 3rd medical device company she got off the ground. She lends her expertise from 12+ years in product development, formerly with Medtronic, where she led the Endovascular Therapies division’s thoracic pipeline portfolio.
