Shreyasee Das

Shreyasee Das is an Associate Professor-Instructional at Temple University with a focus on economics, teaching courses such as Principles of Microeconomics and Growth and Development in the World Economy. In addition, Shreyasee Das serves as affiliated faculty in the Global Studies Program and the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program. In 2022, Shreyasee Das became the Liaison Officer for the American Economic Association's Committee on the Status of Women in Economics, advocating for the advancement of women in the field. Shreyasee Das has previously held positions at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and the University of Houston, along with a brief tenure as a Visiting Scholar at UNU-WIDER. Academically, Shreyasee Das earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Houston, where educational achievements also include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
