Michael Keating is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in the transportation and technology sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Tempo since January 2022, Keating focuses on solutions to deter bike theft and assist in the recovery and replacement of stolen bikes, providing peace of mind to cyclists. Concurrently, Keating serves as an Advisor for MOSA, an organization dedicated to creating infrastructure that prevents bike theft and supports bike sharing. Previously, as the SVP of Government Partnerships and President of Scoot at Bird from July 2019 to March 2020, Keating managed global government relations and integrated various mobility services. Keating founded Scoot Networks, pioneering app-based electric transportation solutions in major cities. With a background in business development, consulting, and urban planning, Keating holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a BA from Wesleyan University, and has participated in the Leaders in Tech Fellowship.
