Role Summary:

The Staff Product Manager, Self-Service & Growth at Temporal Technologies will lead initiatives to enable bottom-up adoption of Temporal, with particular focus on making our cloud offering easy and delightful to start with.  This role is pivotal in driving the strategic evolution of our onboarding experiences. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability of our business and the experience of every user of Temporal.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own product strategies and initiatives focused on increasing adoption, engagement, and retention through the self-service journey.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and design teams to ensure the early product journey and in-app prompting addresses user needs and drives accounts through the early stages of adoption.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and measure the effectiveness of implemented growth initiatives.
  • Champion the voice of new adopters in product development, ensuring that the product experience gives people getting to know Temporal a clear path to success.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver features that align with Temporal's vision and user expectations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in SaaS, open-source, or technology-focused companies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools for data analysis, such as SQL, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and overseeing CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • A passion for and prior experience with open-source communities are highly desirable.

Compensation

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $196,000 - $245,000 depending on experience and geographical location.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
