Alexander Giftthaler

Alexander Giftthaler, MBA has extensive work experience in executive management and business development roles. Alexander currently serves as the Director of Europe and Asia-Pacific Strategy and Business Development at Tempur Sealy International, where they are responsible for innovations, M&A projects, strategic partnerships, brand licensing, and business management. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of Tempur Sealy Italian organization, leading a successful turnaround of the business. Alexander also worked as an Executive Management Consultant at a consulting firm and held leadership positions at Fiskars Group, Philips, Spectrum Brands, JTI, Mondelēz International, Whirlpool Corporation, Haier Europe, and L'Oréal. Giftthaler's experience spans various industries including sleep products, consumer goods, and appliances.

Alexander Giftthaler, MBA has an extensive education history. Alexander obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Università degli Studi di Parma in 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Università Bocconi in 2000. Alexander also pursued a Master CEMS MIM (Master in International Management) from both Università Bocconi and University of Cologne Business School, completing it in 1999 and 2021 respectively. Additionally, they attended POLIMI Graduate School of Management and earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from 2018 to 2020. Furthermore, they participated in an Executive Development Program on International Brand Strategies at IMD in 2005. Lastly, they completed their secondary education at Liceo classico Concetto Marchesi - Conegliano from 1989 to 1994.
