Allen Platek

Allen Platek has over 27 years of experience in the bedding industry, currently serving as the Vice President of New Product Development at Tempur Sealy International since August 1996. In this role, Allen leads and provides technical support for all new product development initiatives worldwide for Tempur Sealy, specifically within Sealy Technology, LLC and Tempur-Pedic Technologies, Inc. Previously, Allen held various positions at Sealy Mattress Company, including VP Marketing for the NPD platform, VP of Quality Assurance and Safety, VP of Operations Support, and Plant Manager. Allen's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Akron.
